Non Profit Mission

Crestone Performances is a non-profit 501c3, dedicated to bringing intergenerational music education to the San Luis Valley. The non-profit runs Crestone Music Festival, established in 1999, which encourages cultural and economic enrichment for the community. We are growing all ages music education and the long running, Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) offers performing arts grants to Saguache County students middle and high school for musical instruments, supplies, and lessons. Regularly scheduled events include adding color and joy to many local events such as Trunk or Treat, Crestone Energy Fair and the 4th of July, plus regular all ages workshops, hosting local educational jams, buying music books for the library, and sponsoring Toddler Song & Story Time.
